Daniel Ciobanu is an internationally acclaimed pianist and an inspiring mentor to the next generation of musicians. A medalist of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition and winner of multiple major international competitions, he has performed at the world’s leading concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, and Gewandhaus Leipzig.
Trained in Europe’s top conservatoires in Scotland, Paris, and Berlin, Ciobanu brings a deep understanding of both technical excellence and musical artistry. Beyond performing, he is deeply committed to education and artistic development, having served as the first Artist in Residence at the George Enescu Philharmonic in Bucharest.
As the founder of the innovative #SharpFestival, he actively nurtures young talent and encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence.
