Aya Sakou studied under the legendary Konstantin Scherbakov—the same master teacher of Yulianna Avdeeva, winner of the 2010 Chopin International Piano Competition. This connection places Aya in a tradition of pianists known for their depth, artistry, and technical brilliance.
A graduate of both Toho Gakuen School of Music (one of Japan’s top music conservatories) and Musikhochschule Winterthur-Zurich in Switzerland, Aya brings a unique blend of Eastern discipline and European musical tradition.
