Nat Studio Marks 41 Years with Young Pianists in “Cream of Nat Studio”
Twenty young pianists aged 8–15 will take the stage at Sala Sudasiri Sobha on Sunday, September 6, for “Cream of Nat Studio – A Journey of Growth Through Music,” a student showcase marking the 41st anniversary of Nat Studio.
Designed as a concert by young musicians that can also be enjoyed by young audiences and families, the programme moves beyond standard classical repertoire to include a broad mix of familiar, contemporary and educational works.
Audiences will hear music ranging from Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt to Scott Joplin’s Maple Leaf Rag and Yiruma’s popular River Flows in You. The programme also includes colourful shorter works such as Popcorn by Akira Yuyama and Rumba Toccata by Paul Harvey, alongside more demanding repertoire including Liszt’s Mephisto Waltz No.1.
