Who is the Balkan Juice?
Expressive jazz arrangements of Hasidic and Balkan music for violin, accordion, doublebass and percussion instruments make unique emotions among listeners. Hot- temperament sounds alternate with full of softness ones. An inherent part of BALKAN JUICE concerts are outstanding improvisations of the musicians. Though each of them full of freedom and nonchalance, together they make accurate mosaic sounds. Improvisation of the musicians causes unique presentation of Jewish melodies making that a listener has impression that he participates in the performance.
The band’s concert combines elements of dramatic art because of unique, multidimensional interaction. The listener is a witness of a mutual relationship among artists on the stage.
