At just 13 years old, young Singaporean pianist Mikkel Myer Lee makes his highly anticipated Thailand debut with a dazzling piano recital at Sala Sudasiri Sobha Concert Hall. Hailed by The Straits Times as a “piano maestro,” Mikkel has already achieved what few pianists accomplish in a lifetime.
Mikkel first made headlines at age nine when he performed the complete cycle of Chopin’s 24 Preludes, Op.28 to a sold-out audience at Singapore’s Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. Since then, he has performed with orchestras at major venues, including Beethoven and Chopin concertos at Victoria Concert Hall and the Esplanade Concert Hall. He is the youngest pianist in the world to have performed both of Chopin’s piano concertos in one evening and recently launched an ambitious recital series featuring the complete 32 Beethoven piano sonatas.
